Keel ("we," "our," or "us") provides deployment infrastructure for software teams. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and organization details.

Deployment data. To operate the platform, we process information related to your code repositories, build logs, deployment history, and infrastructure configuration. We do not access the contents of private repositories beyond what's required to build and deploy your application.

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with Keel, pages visited, features used, and general performance metrics, to improve the product.

Payment information. Billing details are processed by our payment provider. Keel does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Keel platform

• Process deployments and monitor infrastructure health

• Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests

• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse

• Comply with legal obligations

AI Features

Keel Intelligence analyzes deployment data (build times, error rates, latency, and similar operational metrics) to generate insights and recommendations. This analysis is automated and does not involve human review of your source code unless you explicitly request support assistance.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate Keel (hosting, analytics, payment processing), bound by confidentiality obligations

• Integrations you authorize, such as GitHub, Slack, or other connected tools

• Legal authorities, if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Keel and its users

Data Retention

We retain account and deployment data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or security purposes.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@keel.sh.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use strong, unique credentials and enable available security features on your account.
